Brayford Farmers Market
A wonderful local Farmers Market held every second Saturday of the month - 10am to noon in the Village Hall. Twenty-five tables filled with local meats, vegetables, fresh bread baked that morning, local delicatessen quiche, pasties, sausage rolls, local eggs & honey, hand sewn vests and caps, upholstered goods, handmade cards, artwork, knitted & woollen items, and much more(!) accompanied by Joe Poole's lovely guitar music, and tea & coffee with home made biscuits & cakes. There is no other Market in the area like it; kind and welcoming people with interesting products & foods. If you have something you would like to sell, come and participate. High Bray and Charles W.I.
President: Mrs. Valerie Warner, tel; 710613. Good speakers, interesting outings, walks, lots of fun. Visitors are always welcome to this lively monthly meeting.
Brayford Duck Race
Held each May in the village. Excellent fund-raising event for the Village Hall. Stalls including Cakes, plants, games and teas. Contact Joe Poole 01598 710236.
