As you know the Churches of High Bray, the Chapel, & Charles launched a ‘Ukraine Appeal’ a month ago to support the emergency assistance for Ukrainians, both inside and outside of the Country.
So far, our communities have raised £2,722 (!) which has been sent to ‘Computers for Charities’, a Sussex based charity which has aided refugees and the dispossessed in Eastern Europe since the late 1990’s through local church organisations in those Countries. This donated amount is a remarkable achievement for our small community, and more donations come in weekly.
As the need in Ukraine continues to grow daily, if you feel you can assist, would you kindly contact one of the following:
Can you help?

With Covid racing through our Village and community, we have decided that holding our traditional Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols Service at High Bray Church just wouldn’t be responsible, putting our friends and neighbours at greater risk.
All of us are very disappointed, as that community celebration is a joyous part of our Christmas; but we’re looking forward to 2022!
With our wishes to all for a better and healthier New Year.

High Bray Church has been open to our Village for over 800 years: for Services, Easter & Harvest Celebrations, weddings & funerals, and more recently 'Puddings & Song', Bell Ringers, the Singing Group, and the School Christmas Play.
Now the tower needs urgent repair, and if not repaired, it will limit the use of our Church.
This auction is to help raise the £32,000.00 which is needed to repair the church tower. All proceeds will go to the tower repair project. We are very grateful for any support you can offer!
The online auction is LIVE now - please use the link below to get involved.
Devon Air Ambulance needs a community of volunteers to keep its 19 charity shops open and our helicopters flying. The great thing about volunteering in our retail shops is that we have a role to suit everyone, whether you are young or older, an outgoing type or someone who likes to work behind the scenes.
As with all volunteering roles you can choose where, when and for how long you volunteer.
To find out more about your nearest shop and how you can help, please contact our Volunteer Cara Jones on 01392 304343 or c.jones@daat.org
Shop locations all over Devon.

As from Monday 19th July most legal limits on social contact were removed. There is no longer any limit on gatherings inside or outside or on social distancing.
However. the government's position is that people should continue to exercise caution, common sense and personal responsibility.
The village hall have decided to continue to provide hand sanitisers, one way access and support the voluntary continuation of social distancing whilst the pandemic continues at its current level.
