i) Following Caroline Verney’s Presentation on Devon Adult and Community Learning, workshops
were mentioned in the Parish Newsletter.
ii) The notice-board at High Bray needs attention.

7. PROJECTS UPDATE:
a) The Old Garden – work almost completed.
b) The Pound – quoins for top of wall still being sought.
c) Play Area – decision to be made on length of lease following new Land Registry requirements.
d) Charles Village Green – ongoing.
e) Affordable housing – successful in supporting Mrs. Nicholson’s application for a N.D. Homes property at Broomhill Villas.
8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
1. Proposed variation of Condition 24 of 02/14/25237/98 to retain area for an additional 2 year period at
Bray Valley Quarries, Brayford, granted.
2. Hedgerow removal in respect of removal of 3 hedgerows to create 1 field at Deer Park, Charles, granted.
3. Application from Exmoor National Park: Erection of extension to form conservatory and porch at Rockley House, Brayford.
9. FINANCE
Statement from Nat.West. dated 30th March 2007, reads Current Acct.: £3,991.63; Reserve Acct. £2,095.03.
Mrs. M. Hartnoll, salary of Parish Clerk: £94.15 + stationery £6.99 = £101.14.
Community First Insurance £463.07, renewal 1st June.
