Meeting of Brayford Parish Council, to be held on Thursday 19th
January 2006 at 7.30pm in Brayford Village Hall
AGENDA
1. APOLOGIES.

3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES DATED 15TH December 2005.
4. MATTERS ARISING:
i) The Nook noticeboard - condensation problem.
ii) Millenium garden – Balfour Beatty have agreed compensation figure. Cheque to follow.
iii) Millenium garden – no further comments from Environment Agency re land drainage.
iv) Bridge at Lower Hall.
v) Carols at The Nook – Letters of thanks to be written. £170 raised for Air Ambulance.
vi) Salt bins – contents to be checked.
vii) Huxtable plough – to be in situ by end-March.
5. SCHOOL GOVERNOR – NEW REPRESENTATIVE TO BE ELECTED FROM PARISH COUNCIL.
6. NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH.

8. PROJECTS UPDATE:
(a) Land by the bridge – has a suitable silver birch tree been acquired from the Tree Council?
(b) Play Area – discussion on ways forward.
(c) Affordable Housing – no contact from Hastoes, but reply received from N.D. Homes to Cllr. White’s letter regarding the
recent problem at Braytown.
(d) Parish Paths Partnership – update on the path running alongside Millfield.
9. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Refusal: 2 free-range Poultry Houses together with feed silo at Higher Hall.
Appeal: Outline Planning Application for Erection of 1 dwelling with garage at Millfield.
10. FINANCE
Statement from Nat.West.dated 30th December 2005 reads: Current Account: £4,356.24; Reserve Account: £2,049.11.
Outgoings: Salary of Parish Clerk: £76.22;
B. Symons, Wine etc. for Carols at The Nook: £30.56;
Cheque made payable to Air Ambulance for £170.56, following collection at the Carols.
