Meeting of Brayford Parish Council, to be held on Thursday 18th August 2005 at 7.30pm in Brayford Village Hall

It has been observed that 7(II) was omitted from the Minutes, and this reads “THE POUND – Cllr. Lowe has put two coats of stain on the bench and the builder has collected it and will fit and secure it shortly.”
4.  MATTERS ARISING
   i) Reply from John Davies of North Devon Homes.
   ii) Removal of stakes regarding Land by the Bridge.
   iii) Community First Insurance Policy update.
   iv) Decision to be made on garden bench to be donated by M.Thorne.

It has been mentioned that the drains are blocked down School Hill to The Old Post Office.
7.  PROJECTS UPDATE
   i) Land by the bridge – Councillor Barrow to give us an update regarding levelling of purchased site.
   ii) The Pound – seat and sign are both now in situ.
   iii) The Play Area with regard to RockETS grant.
   iv) Affordable Housing.
8.  PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Consulted as adjoining Parish: Reserved matters application for erection of 1 agricultural workers dwelling at Kimbland Farm.
Copy letter from N.D.D.C. to Mr. Goss at Atherington re safeguarding mains water supply when creating access at Charlestown Barton.
9.  FINANCE
Statement from Nat.West. dated 1.8.05 reads: Current Account £3,048.99; Reserve Account £2,032.26.
Salary of Clerk £76.22 + photocopying £5.17 = £81.39.
Community First Insurance Policy – although recommended by D.A.P.C., additional premiums are needed in order to correspond with Cornhill Insurance, at a cost of £202.05.
